Spirit of Life, we thank you for our voices –
voices that sing of the beauty of the world,
voices that offer kind words to those in need,
voices that speak out against injustice,
voices that laugh and cry to express our joy and sorrow as we travel through life. May we always use our

Beloved, I thank you for the gift of this day.
May I give freely from my heart,
Living with a deep and abiding joy.
As I move through the day
May I know truth,
Move in beauty,
Rest in grace,

For those who had cared?
For those who had been so close?
For his mother, who had pondered the meaning of his life for so long, was it what she expected?
For Mary, his sister, who had followed him and loved him.
