Closing words
Closing words
May the icy fingers of winter release their grip, may you be warmed and enlivened
May spring unfurl her blossoms all around you,
may you be opened and renewed.
And may you share the gift of warmth, and openness all through your life, in the days to come until we meet again.
A blessing of openness
May I be willing to have no opinion sometimes
May I be open to other opinions at all times
May I challenge and be challenged
May I fall into my infinite self
May I bless others as they fall to
May I experience all of this house our world
May I bless others as they
We leave this house
We leave this house
with the blessing of the Spirit we have shared.
As we go out to walk the green Earth
under the vault of heaven,
we remain one body,
whether together or apart.
Amen.
In the darkness of grief
In the world’s grief and darkness
we keep a flame burning –
the flame of hope, the flame of truth,
the flame that warms the heart with loving kindness.
Benediction
May the peace of God which passeth all understanding keep our hearts and minds strong and comforted in our restlessness and confusion, and fill us with love.
Amen
Closing words
Give us room to deny ourselves – so that we have the space to think of others and the means to help them. Give us room to express ourselves – room to grow, expand, flourish, be all that we are meant to be.
Give us bread to feed our bodies and roses to feed our souls.
Closing words
Our meeting draws to a close –
But the love and friendship remain:
The joy of having met together,
The connections,
And the spiritual nourishment we have received will stay with us,
And will continue to bless us, this day and in the days to come.
Amen and Blessed Be.
