We breathe together as one breath.

We thank one another silently for being here, present with love,
friendship and sharing a sense of the sacred.

We are lighting our chalice today for the gentle turning of the seasons, asking for a sense of balance to enter our lives and to honour our equal place among the wider family in the world. Let our time together be joyous, sacred and inclusive. All are welcome here, Amen.

We light this chalice and acknowledge the turning of the season and the harvest. May we embody generosity, abundance and care, welcoming all to our table. Amen.

Autumn is a beautiful time of year:
The long heat of the summer is over,
and we can settle down to enjoy this
in-between season of warm, sunny days,
and still light evenings,
before the winter cold sets in.
The harvest has been largely gathered in,
and we give thanks for it, as it
reconnects
