Prayer for the Dying
Almighty and eternal God, source of all love and compassion, we ask for your presence to surround and uphold this beloved soul.
May they be comforted in their time of need, and may your strength be their foundation.
Through your infinite goodness, sustain them in the face of pain and uncertainty, and guide them gently toward peace.
Free them from all burdens of fear, anguish, and distress, and may they rest in the assurance of your grace, which is always at work.
May they feel your loving embrace, knowing that they are never alone. As they journey forward, may your light guide them and lead them into a deeper awareness of your truth and love.
We ask this with the spirit of Jesus, the great teacher and guide, who has shown us the path of compassion, humility, and redemption.
May we all be reminded of the unity of creation, and may your kingdom of peace and wholeness surround us all.
